ZyraA funny thing happened on 1st May 2003 as I was just outside Scarborough Railway Station waiting for the film crew to arrive: Someone walked past me and sarcastically commented "Pretty hair... GET A JOB!". After that I laughed and laughed, because I have a job; I'm Self-Employed! I make quite a lot of money by various good businesses which I run, most notably the online affiliate programs at my website. In fact, most months I make considerably more money than the average person does working at a normal job, and I'm sufficiently well-off that I'm independently wealthy. So, what was this person on about? Maybe their own life is so bereft of interest that they've missed the Millennium celebrations and have failed to notice that we live in a new Century, and that if someone has bright pink hair and wears a crazy outfit, it's much safer to assume they're an online entrepreneur or something to do with the music business than it is to assume they're unemployed. In addition to not being very nice for people, the risk with making crass assumptions by an outdated belief-system is that it's likely to sooner or later end up being very embarrassing for the would-be critic involved. You have to feel sorry for them.
