Books For Sale
In particular, stacks of World Health Statistics and other Medical Statistics books, some of considerable historical interest.

I have some World Health Statistics books for sale, some of which are quite old, and I consider must have been expensive when new. Many of these are connected with the WHO World Health Organisation and are from the Library of the Department of Health and Social Security. Many are huge weighty volumes full of international statistics of the health of the world during a year in history. Surely someone interested in health and the history of medicine would be keen to get these books. I am open to offers!

Next, here's some WHO World Health Statistical Annuals (Annuaire de Sanitaires Mondiales). These are big weighty books, and can hardly be described as "paperback", as the weight of paper in the volumes is plenty to avoid the cover becoming creased. Also note that with some of the years we seem to have more than one copy.

OK, so there it is. A collection of medical statistics books of world class standard. In my opinion it beggars belief that libraries ever part with books, as I would have thought libraries were to be there forever! Nevertheless, some huge reference library or other has parted with these erudite compilations of demographic medical facts, facts which must have cost millions to compile in the first place. You seldom see books like this up for sale, especially those going back so far into history. So now is your chance to put in some decent offers on these books.
