Barnardo's
Children's Charity
featured at Zyra's website (which has been around a long time).
Every child deserves a life which is worthwhile as a decent childhood which includes playing, having fun, learning, etc. A child should not have to worry or to suffer the awful things of the world. Poverty robs children of their childhood, and deprivation in childhood can result in problems in development into later life. Barnardo's Children's Charity helps to free underprivileged children from the poverty, abuse, discrimination, and suffering which the unfortunate natural state of the world would normally inflict upon them. You can make a difference by making a donation to Barnardo's and help to eliminate child poverty. If you give towards this good cause you'll be helping Barnardo's to help the most vulnerable children and young people transform their lives and to fulfil their true potential. So go on then, make a donation that counts towards giving children back a future to look forward to!
Make a difference, improve a child's life, fight child poverty. To make a donation or to learn more about this, have a closer look at Barnardo's Children's Charity:

"Barnardo's
are the UK's leading children's charity, supporting 100,000
children and their families through 371 services in England,
Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Every service is different
but each has the same goal - to help
underprivileged children reach their full potential. We help them
to overcome the effects of disadvantage and give children back
their future. Our current campaign is about children like 5 year
old Sophie. Sophie is growing up without many of the
opportunities other children take for granted - simple things
such as clothes that fit, a warm home, somewhere safe to play,
toys to play with or books to read. But worse than this without
the stimulation of toys and other children she won't develop the
same early learning skills as other children. Her life has hardly
started and she's already being left behind. Just £3 a month
would enable Sophie to attend a Barnardo's family centre. Here
she would have a safe place to play and learn with other children
- giving her a chance of a decent future. Or give just £5 a
month to change her life".
